Water gymnastics

Water aerobics is fitting for all people regardless of age, gender and build. Exercising in water is a cheerful and emotional aerobic workout that by its structure resembles aerobics done in a gym but which has completely different set of exercises that are made being up to shoulders in water. Auxiliary devices are also used in water – from expanded polystyrene tubes and swimming boards up to special swimming aid devices attached to hands. 

Water aerobics can be taken up after a long break in exercising or if the desired objective is weight loss. The purpose is to maintain and increase physical and mental ability to work, improve well-being and mood and get rid of stress.

Cold water treatments stimulate metabolism and fat burning and improve muscle tone. Muscle strength, stamina, balance and coordination of movements develop exercising in the water.

Human being weighs only 10 % of his/her body weight in the water, wherefore it is very easy to move in the water and exercising in the water works as a good fat burner. Load on the spine is smaller because the body weight is not resting on the joints. Almost all muscles work when making different exercises in the water because the body has to be kept in balance in water.

Water amortizes strong blows and shocks; when exercising we create whirls that massage the body affecting this way subcutaneous receptors also.

Gymnast becomes brisk and refreshed, getting rid of tension and stress.
